Founded in 2021, Listenarium bring stories to life through bespoke audiobooks with rich soundscapes. From our studio in London, we work alongside authors and publishers to lift stories from pages to the ears of audiences.
Eleanor studied visual and performing arts at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs before moving to the UK for her MA in classical acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. While studying, she took a particular interest to how voice affects listeners on an emotional level and how the voice could be manipulated to create abstract sounds. When not standing at her mic voicing books or working on animal impressions, Eleanor can be found café hopping around London, nose buried in a crime novel.
Jack spent a year as a member of the Aldeburgh Young Musicians before studying for his BMus (Composition) at the Royal College of Music. While at the RCM, he wrote for orchestral, chamber and solo, and he began developing his own software to build realistic soundscapes and creating immersive audio. Now, when not in the studio or composing for independent projects, Jack spends his time playing games with friends, joining Eleanor for coffee or taking a walk around London in hopes of catching some sun.
